<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability in a seal to intrusion of foreign matter such as rainwater, muddy water or dust-dirt from an external part, without increasing sliding bearing pressure in a lip to a dust. <P>SOLUTION: This sealing device includes: a sealing device body 10 sealably fixed to one member 1 among relatively movable two members mutually arranged in a substantially concentric shape and having a plurality of seal lips 13-15 having a tip part slidably brought into close contact with the other member 2; and an annular absorber 20 positioned and arranged between the plurality of seal lips 13-15 and comprising an elastic porous body brought into close contact with both the sealing device body 10 and the other member 2.
