<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign language broadcast editing system, a translation server and a translation assisting method, in which a translation work in reference to a foreign language broadcast can be assisted by a user. <P>SOLUTION: An IP transmission server 2 broadcasts Japanese sentence, transferred from a translation server 1, through IP broadcasting and transfers a translation draft of Japanese sentence, which is produced by the user, to the translation server 1 from a user terminal when the same is received from a user terminal while the translation server 1 effects collating comparison of the received translation draft with a translated sentence by machine which is obtained by the machine translation of a Japanese sentence and transmits the translation draft to the IP transmission server 2 when its matching rate is higher than a predetermined matching rate. The IP transmission server 2 broadcasts a translation edition display, in which the Japanese sentence and the translation draft are arrayed. Further, correction by the translation draft provided by the above method from the user is repeated to decide the translation sentence and effect a decided translation sentence display broadcasting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
