<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent limitation of a dynamic range due to the limit of hardware specifications, when a plurality of photographs of the same object are photographed under different photographic conditions, a plurality of image data corresponding to the plurality of photographs that are taken are obtained, and one dynamic range expanded image data is obtained by processing these. <P>SOLUTION: A suitable photography method is selected among three photography methods that include a first photography method with which photographs are taken, at least twice at different exposures, based on whether photographing can be performed by imaging means, with an exposure ratio corresponding to a dynamic range expansion ratio or whether a flashlight is flashed; a second photography method with which the photograph is taken with an underexposure. at a step number based on a set dynamic range; and a third photography method with which photographs are taken, at least twice with underexposure, at the step number based on the set dynamic range and at different exposures.
