摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic sphygmomanometer capable of switching a measurement method depending on a size of a measured site of a subject and a method for controlling blood pressure measurement. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic sphygmomanometer employs a pressure-decreasing measurement method as the initial measurement method, and detects a pressure time between a predetermined pressure interval as an index based on the pressure information of an initial stage of pressure in order to determine the size of the measured site (S104, S106).
