PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aerial distribution line insulation cover that can be used irrespective of a voltage class and a connection form in a connection part of an aerial distribution line.

SOLUTION: In the aerial distribution line insulation cover, a pair of square cover plate parts 1 and 2 are coupled at inner edges by a band-like side plate part 3 so that states can be changed into a state where they are arranged in parallel and are expanded and a state where they are confronted each other in parallel with a constant interval and are closed. A plurality of projections for engaging a connection member are protrusively formed on inner faces of the cover plate parts 1 and 2. Projected pieces 4a and 4b abut on an end face of a branching sleeve (branching connection body) 11 which is set at one point, and they are protrusively installed in a first position A abutting on a side of the jumper sleeve 12 which is set from one side and a second position B which sandwiches a side of a line 20 connected to the jumper sleeve (linear connection body) 12 from both sides and abuts on an end face of the jumper sleeve 12 at two points.
