<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output apparatus for effectively adding additional images such as advertisement images to output images. <P>SOLUTION: A composite device MFa relates the additional image to be added to the output image and an addition condition for adding the additional image to the output image and registers them in an NVRAM 104. When an output image related condition related to the output image is input from the input part 304 or the like of an operation panel control part 300 when outputting the output image, the CPU 101 of a system controller 100 takes out the additional image related to the addition condition corresponding to the output image related condition from the NVRAM 104, adds it to the output image and makes the image be output in an image input/output control part 200.
