<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise caused by a side plate having shaft insertion holes for supporting various members constituting an image forming apparatus, and to achieve improvement in image-quality and noise reduction. <P>SOLUTION: A frame structure of the image forming apparatus includes the side plate 60 where a plurality of shaft insertion holes 61 for supporting the shaft parts of the rotors are disposed in a prescribed array. A reinforcing member 65 extending in a direction crossing the arraying direction of the shaft insertion holes is disposed between the shaft insertion holes on the side plate surface, and a plurality of mesh-like openings 71 are formed in the side plate surface, except the areas of the shaft insertion holes and the reinforcing member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
