PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise meter which easily prevents drop-off of a wind screen. SOLUTION: The noise meter 1 is used with a wind screen 5 mounted on a microphone 4. A preamplifier case 3 of the microphone 4 includes a tube 6 for preventing drop-off of the wind screen 5, and the wind screen 5 is mounted on the microphone 4 via the drop-off prevention tube 6. The drop-off prevention tube 6 is made of silicone rubber. In the outer surface of the drop-off prevention tube 6, a convex portion 6a with oblique lines crossing each other is formed as an antislip measure. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
