PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus correcting fixed pattern noise with high accuracy and suppressing an increase in power consumption, and to provide an imaging method, and a program. SOLUTION: When an AGC level of a AGC 104 is high or when a sensor output level of a sensor array 101 is low, a vertical line noise 302 has a large influence on an image quality. As a result, for the purpose of increasing correction value detection accuracy, a vertical line correction circuit 103 detects a correction value for each frame. On the other hand, when the AGC level of the AGC 104 is low or when the sensor output level of the sensor array 101 is high, the vertical line noise 302 has a small influence on the image quality.
