摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchromesh mechanism causing no shift-in failure due to an inner peripheral cone surface of a balk ring biting into an outer peripheral cone surface of a clutch gear. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When a coupling sleeve slides, before the tip chamfer surfaces of inner peripheral spline teeth abut on chamfers 13a of a balk ring body 13, an inner peripheral inclined surface of the coupling sleeve displaces a pressure block 14 and the balk ring body 13 in a corresponding axial direction (obliquely upward to the left in the figure) through protrusions 14c to bring their cone faces 14a, 13b into frictional contact with the outer peripheral cone surface of a clutch gear. The inner peripheral inclined surface of the coupling sleeve then pushes the protrusions 14c to push the pressure block 14 radially inward to thereby increase a pressure block pressing force to the outer peripheral cone surface of the clutch gear. The increase of pressing force and the small areas of the pressure block cone surfaces 14a increases the bearing pressure of the pressure block 14 to prevent the balk ring body 13 from biting into the outer peripheral cone surface of the clutch gear, thereby solving a problem of the shift-in failure.
