<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection member contributing to enhancement of operability and safety of an attaching and detaching unit, when carrying out an attaching and detaching operation of attaching and detaching the attaching and detaching unit onto an image forming device body, and the image forming device using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This protection member includes: a protecting part 101 for storing, into an inside, and protecting a member 16 to be protected formed attachably and detachably in an image forming device body 1; and an operation part 103 having a press-in part for pressing the member 16 to be protected stored in the protecting part 101 in, in accompaniment to attaching-directional movement of the operation part 103, and a draw-in part positioned in a position not overlapped with the member 16 to be protected in an attaching direction under the condition where the operation part 103 is positioned in an attaching-directional end part, moved to a position overlapped with the member 16 to be protected in the attaching direction, in accompaniment to movement along a reverse direction with respect to the attaching direction of the operation part 103, to draw the member 16 to be protected stored in the protecting part 101 in, and operated when moving the member 16 to be protected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
