PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of power transmitting section which performs power transmission by pressing force without generating big acting pressure supply caused by a generation of unnecessary pressing force, and producing a deterioration of fuel consumption. SOLUTION: The controller of power transmitting section, which performs the power transmission by the pressing force, wherein: when operation condition changes, a continuously variable transmission 13 is prevented from sliding by adding the amount of compensation for operation using the amount of increase in input torque input to the continuously variable transmission 13 to the pressing force; the amount of compensation is operated from a value obtained by differentiating the input torque to input to the continuously variable transmission 13; and the input torque input to the continuously variable transmission 13 is filtered before differentiation.
