<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to improve electric connection reliability and realize thinning or downsizing well by preventing deformation when fitted to the counterpart connector by a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: An engagement protruding part 21c to protrude in a fitting direction is installed at an open end edge part 21b of either one of an insulating housing 21 and a conductive shell 24, a locking hole part 24c to insert the engagement protruding part 21b into the fitting direction is installed at the other open end edge part 24b. By a simple and easy work to insert the engagement protruding part 21c into the locking hole part 24c, the insulating housing 21 and the conductive shell 24 are fixed in a direction orthogonal to the fitting direction, rigidity in this direction is increased largely, and by preventing a fixing mechanism of the insulating housing 21 and the conductive shell 24 from protruding to the interior side of the insulating housing 21, height reduction and narrow pitch are realized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
