<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nail clipper which prevents a nail from being cut to the quick even when cutting the nail of another person in addition to cutting own nail. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The nail clipper is provided with a first member in which the rear ends of an upper elastic plate 2 and lower elastic plate 3 made of an elastic long plate are joined, and the front ends are openably/closably constituted, and an operation lever 1 connected to a spindle 4 penetrating through the opening part provided in the front end of this first member.
