<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection control device for a direct-injection internal combustion engine, capable of properly removing deposits adhering during operation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The fuel injection control device 30 for the direct-injection internal combustion engine 1 equipped with a fuel injection valve 15 directly injecting fuel into a cylinder includes: an operation state detection means (step S3) detecting an engine operation state; a deposit removal determination means (step S2) determining whether or not removing the deposits accumulated on the fuel injection valve 15; and a deposit removal processing means (step S4) controlling fuel injection by the fuel injection valve 15 to fuel injection for deposit removal according to the operation state when the deposits are determined to be removed and performing compensation control of the engine operation state varying with the fuel injection for deposit removal.
