PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing toner, manufacturing toner in which a high quality image having high image quality and high resolution with reduced amount of transfer residual toner is obtained, power consumption is small, which has high transfer properties and OHP transmittance required for a color image, and which improves manufacturing efficiency by reducing the time of solvent removal process, in a device obtaining high reliability in cleaning, having superior charging stability, low temperature fixability, and transfer efficiency, and using a cleaning blade. SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the toner, the relation among heat transfer area S (m<SP>2</SP>) of a pipe, a supply rate A (kg/min) of an emulsion to the pipe, and an organic solvent content B(%) in the emulsion satisfies 0.5≤S/(A×B×0.01)≤25.
