PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus, method and program for image formation, capable of maintaining independence among filters. SOLUTION: By providing an image processing means for executing the processing of converting the form of image data performed by the respective filters of a conventional image forming apparatus and using a common part to perform image conversion processing, dependency among the filters is eliminated to maintain the independence among the filters, and the customization and extension, etc., of the function of the image forming apparatus are easily performed.
