PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat device for a vehicle capable of moving the seat without causing interference of the seat and a wheel house and adopting a complicated structure such as a knuckle mechanism in order to enhance comfortability of an occupant, capable of attaining enhancement of comfortability of the occupant while attaining simplification of a structure, light weight and reduction of cost, and enlarging a foot base space between a front seat and a rear seat in the seat device in which the wheel house is provided proximity to a just rear side of the seat. SOLUTION: The seat device for the vehicle is provided with a seat cushion 10a supported on a floor panel 4; and a seat back 10b supported on the floor panel 4 at a rear side of the seat cushion 10a independently from the seat cushion 10a. The seat cushion 10a is constituted such that it is supported through a seat cushion movable mechanism 30 for upwardly moving a rear end part of the seat cushion 10a while being rearward moved.
