PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an AC adaptor which can efficiently prevent disconnection at the fitting portion of a power cable, even when the power cable extended from an outer casing is wound around the outer casing to be deformed. SOLUTION: The AC adapter includes the outer casing 1 wherein an AC input part, an AC/DC conversion part for converting the AC power source input from an AC input part into a predetermined DC power source, and a DC output part outputting the DC power source converted with the AC/DC conversion part, are all built-in, and further includes the power cable 2 extended from the outer casing 1. The attaching part 5 of the power cable 2 to the outer casing 1 is provided to the side wall 16 of a notched part 15 formed on one surface 11 configuring the outer shape of the outer casing 1, and the power cable 2 is disposed to extend in parallel with the surface direction of one surface 11 in the notched part 15.
