<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device with good heat-dissipation efficiency since the lighting device conventionally forms a hollow section wherein heat may be accumulated and it is difficult to escape the heat in a structure. <P>SOLUTION: In the lighting device illuminating by making a light-emitting element (LED 2) light-emit, the lighting device has a retaining body (retaining plate 4) for retaining the light-emitting element, and a plurality of heat-dissipation plates 6A-6E arranged on the retaining body and arranged to make the heat-dissipation plates face each other.
