<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and precisely evaluate characteristics of an antenna with a small number of apparatuses. <P>SOLUTION: Evaluation antennas 24a, 24b, disposed in a radio wave anechoic chamber 20, are antennas to be evaluated. Transmission antennas 23a-23d, disposed in the radio wave anechoic room 20, are antennas irradiating radio wave to the evaluation antennas 24a, 24b. A base band signal generating part 21 generates base band signal. A synthesis signal generating part 10 generates a plurality of different sine waves whose frequencies are different with each other to give a desired correlativity to the plurality of sine waves, and generates fading by multiplying the sine waves where the correlativity is given by the base band signal and combines them to generate a plurality of synthesis signals. Upconvertors 22-1 to 22-4 upconvert the frequencies of the synthesis signals. The evaluating part 30 analyzes the antenna characteristics by downconverting the radio wave received by the evaluation antennas 24a, 24b and converting to the base band signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
