摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the intrusion of impurities into a melt when the stirring/mixing of a magnesium-based alloy and a carbon nano material is performed in an anticombustion gas atmosphere by the adoption of a shielding cover. <P>SOLUTION: The stirring/mixing of a magnesium-based alloy melted in a sealed melting vessel and a carbon nano material is performed in an anticombustion gas (SF6) atmosphere. The boundary between the magnesium-based alloy and the anticombustion gas atmosphere is provided with a shielding cover in contact with a melting face. The production of a compound between the anticombustion gas and magnesium is suppressed so as to prevent its intrusion into the melt caused by the stirring by the shielding cover.
