PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dimming controller and a dimming system allowing recognition of a dimming level by touch of the finger and improving ease of operation by forming a sensor pattern operation area in a curved form. SOLUTION: The dimming controller includes: input means 12 composed of surface contact type input sensors and having sensor pattern operation areas 14 curvedly formed; and a dimming control signal output means 18 sending out a dimming control signal based on operation level information input from the sensor pattern operation areas 14 of the input means 12.
