PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing nanoparticle dispersion which is capable of easily manufacturing the nanoparticle dispersion in which the particle with the particle size of 100 nm or less is finely dispersed. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the nanoparticle dispersion comprising the step of conducting the dispersing treatment of nanoparticles continuously by sending the nanoparticle dispersion containing the agglomerate nanoparticles, the width of the narrowest part of the passage through which the particle dispersion passes in the dispersion device is less than 0.5 mm, and the pressure within the passage through which the particle dispersion passes is 1 MPa or more.
