MICROWAVE DRYING-STERILIZING DEVICE

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave drying-sterilizing device enabling improvement of drying efficiency and sterilization by cooperation action between an automatic matching device and a cavity resonance plate. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the microwave drying-sterilizing device for irradiating microwaves to a dried-sterilized target 16 to dry-sterilize it, a container 15 storing the dried-sterilized target 16 and comprising a microwave permeating material is arranged within a metallic drying tank 1, and the adjustable cavity resonance plate 11 is arranged in a position for reducing microwave electric power reflected from the metallic drying tank 1. In a waveguide 3 for introducing microwaves from a microwave oscillator 2 to the metallic drying tank 1, the automatic matching device 14 for adjusting characteristic impedance of the waveguide 3 based on reflection electric power of the microwaves within the waveguide 3 and matching impedance of the microwave transmitter 2 and the metallic drying tank 1 is arranged.
