<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element capable of enhancing light emission efficiency by efficiently extracting a guiding-wave light component enclosed in an element of the organic electroluminescent element, furthermore enhancing a heat resistant property, and suppressing the generation of moire and color blurring. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the organic electroluminescent element wherein a light extracting film 10A having a plurality of concavo-canvex structures 12 with an adhesive layer 25 between is pasted on a sealing film 119 laminated on an electrode 110 at a light emission side of a light emitting element pinching an organic light emitting layer 112 between a pair of electrodes 110, 111, the adhesive layer 25 or the light extracting film 10A contains particles.
