<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs of a flexible joint while preserving the strength and endurance of the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The flexible joint includes a corrugated pipe including a flat and smooth part in its end and a blade covering the corrugated pipe. A coupling pipe with a flare portion is inserted into the corrugated pipe from the flat and smooth part to ridge portion of the corrugated pipe. Then, a depressed metallic member is fitted which contacts with the flare portion of the coupling pipe and has an outer circumferential groove. The blade is coupled to the outer circumferential groove by using a swage ring. Besides, a portion between the coupling pipe and the flat and smooth portion is sealed by at least one O-ring.
