<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifying device of low maintenance costs, capable of being used in an air conditioning device and saving space. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This humidifying device includes a spray nozzle 50 for spraying water droplets into a ventilation flue 20 in which the air is circulated, and a mist catcher 60 disposed in the spraying direction of the spray nozzle 50. The mist catcher 60 has a collecting section 70 and a barrier section 80, and is fixed to the spray nozzle 50 by a height adjusting section 110 and a distance adjusting section 120. The barrier section 80 has a barrier member 85 with which the water droplets collide, and the barrier member 85 has a gauge diameter as a diameter of passable water particles, decided by material property. The barrier member 85 produces the reflected mist R composed of water particles collided with the barrier member 85 and scattered, and the permeating mist P passing through the barrier member 85 and composed of water particles smaller than the gauge diameter by spray S injected from the spray nozzle 50.
