PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform sheet perforation while avoiding complicated control and maintaining high productivity. SOLUTION: It is confirmed whether a request for switching the kind of perforation from a sheet subjected to switching the kind of perforation (two perforations or three perforations) is made or not (S201). If a switching request is made, the home position of a cam is checked, and it is confirmed whether switching of the kind of perforation is possible or not (S202). If not possible, a perforation motor is driven, and stopped so that a detecting plate is located in the home position of the cam by a short-circuit brake (S203). Thereafter, the operation of switching to the kind of perforation to which a change request is made is performed (S204).
