PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably separate labels one by one and properly take out a label from a label stack with ease when taking out a label with a label take-out device from a label stack where a plurality of labels are stacked. SOLUTION: For taking out a label by a label take-out device 31, 32 from a label stack S1, S2 where a plurality of labels 10A-10D are stacked, notches 11 for separation or projections 13 for separation are formed on the periphery of each label in the label stack in such a manner that the position of the notch for separation or the projection for separation is made different in the stacked vertical labels.
