<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily achieve a high definition plasma display panel having a large screen. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The plasma display panel has a front substrate in which a dielectric layer is formed so as to cover a plurality of display electrodes formed on a substrate and a protective layer is formed on the dielectric layer, a back substrate 6 which is disposed face to face with the front substrate so as to form a discharge space, and in which a data electrode 7 is formed perpendicularly to the display electrode and a barrier plate 9 to partition the discharge space is provided, a phosphor layer formed between the back substrate 6 and the barrier plate 9, and a reflecting layer 11 provided between the phosphor layer and the barrier plate 9. Before applying ink 14 for the reflecting layer to form the reflecting layer 11, a dispersant 14b added to the ink 14 for the reflecting surface and preprocessing ink having affinity are applied to the barrier plate 9.
