<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that moves a charging roller from a charging position to a free position by a simple configuration without making the apparatus large and complex. Ž<P>SOLUTION: After printing ends, a control section 31 controls a vibrating section 30, thereby gives vibrating to a regulating member 4 and brings the charging roller into the state of being free.
