<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet-jetting device showing improved removing ability of a solid substance adhering to a jet opening surface and capable of shortening a time necessary for removing the solid substance adhering to the jet opening surface, and to provide an image formation device and a method of cleaning the droplet-jetting head. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The droplet-jetting device specifies the position of the solid substance adhering to the jet opening surface 160 of the head 150, and controls a sweep velocity of a cleaning blade 166 in such a manner that the sweep velocity in the position becomes slower than that in the other positions.
