<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure printing quality by preventing the mutual interference of adjacent liquid droplets and stabilizing a flight direction of the liquid droplets and a diameter of the liquid droplet in flying the liquid droplets from a slit-shaped opening by a plurality of array-formed ultrasonic heads. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Ultrasonic oscillators 17 are arranged in an array form, and high-frequency sound waves are emitted oscillating from each electrode. In flying liquid droplets of ink by the sound pressure of sound waves propagated to reach an ink liquid level from the slit-shaped opening 14, a liquid droplet ejecting part has the slit-shaped opening, and moreover, the array-formed ultrasonic head is made to be an array arrangement of a plurality of arrays while carrying out recording operation alternately by the plurality of arrays. Adjacent oscillators of each array head are prevented from being driven at the same time.
