<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dish basket which dishes can be easily put into and taken out of a storage space utilizing an opening for putting in/taking out dishes. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The dish basket 1 is provided with the storage space 11 in which several dishes are piled up and stored leaving room for moving dishes when washing dishes. The dish basket 1 is provided with the opening for putting in/taking out dishes 16 which is open upwards on the upper front side of the storage space 11. A top control section 17 is installed on the top side of the storage space 11 and a bottom control section 23 is installed on the bottom side of the storage space 11. Also a front control section 25 is installed on the front side of the storage space 11 and a back control section 27 is installed on the back side of the storage space 11. The dish basket 1 is turned 90 degrees in a washing position so that the front control section 25 may become on the top side when dishes are put in a dish washing device.
