PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of boiled glutinous rice using lotus leaves is provided to give beneficial effects to the glutinous rice by making the rice which is covered with the lotus leaves, and to improve convenience for eating the rice. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of boiled glutinous rice using lotus leaves comprises a step for soaking glutinous rice 80~90 weight%, miscellaneous grains 8~18 weight%, and miscellaneous fruits 2~12 weight% in water for 6 ~ 10 hours and a step for cooking the soaked mixture with the lotus leaves in a steamer for 30 ~ 60 minutes. The miscellaneous grains are millet, black rice, adzuki beans, or beans etc. The miscellaneous fruits are lotus seed, jujube, ginkgo nuts or pine nuts. |
