WATER HEAT SOURCE TYPE HEAT PUMP SYSTEM HAVING FREEZING PROTECTION APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A water heat source heat pump system having a freezing protection function is provided to prevent burst of a refrigerant-to-water heat exchanger by using water as a medium. CONSTITUTION: A water heat source heat pump system comprises a compressor(110), a capacity control valve(111), a refrigerant low pressure sensor(112), a controller(180), a load-side refrigerant-to-water heat exchanger(160), and a heat-source-side refrigerant-to-water heat exchanger(130). The compressor compresses refrigerant to high pressure and high temperature. The capacity control valve controls the capacity of the compressor. The refrigerant low pressure sensor is installed on the refrigerant inlet side of the compressor. The controller controls the capacity control valve to reduce the capacity of the compressor when the pressure of refrigerant detected by the refrigerant low pressure sensor is lowered below the set value. The load-side refrigerant-to-water heat exchanger allows for heat exchange between the refrigerant provided from the compressor and cooling-and-heating water. The heat-source-side refrigerant-to-water heat exchanger allows for heat exchange between the refrigerant provided from the compressor and water.
