APPARATUS FOR STICKING OPTICAL FILM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DISPLAY PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically maintain stable sticking position accuracy for a long period of time upon sticking an optical film to a display panel.

SOLUTION: An apparatus carries out a feedback processing comprising detecting misalignment information about a sticking position after sticking an optical film to a display panel and changing conditions of the aligning processing of an optical film supply means based on the detected misalignment information. When optical films are approximately simultaneously stuck to both surfaces (a first major surface (CF surface) and a second major surface (TFT surface)) of the display panel, a feedback processing is similarly carried out, comprising detecting misalignment information about sticking positions of the optical films on both surfaces respectively and separately changing conditions of the aligning processing of the optical film supply means based on the detected misalignment information.
