<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluoroolefin iodide mixture that is an unsaturated compound in which a long side chain terminal is bound with an iodine atom and has a short synthesis path and an excellent yield and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The fluoroolefin iodide mixture is represented by general formula [Ia]: C<SB>n</SB>F<SB>2n+1</SB>CF<SB>2</SB>CH=CF(CF<SB>2</SB>CF<SB>2</SB>)<SB>m</SB>I and general formula [Ib]: C<SB>n</SB>F<SB>2n+1</SB>CF=CHCF<SB>2</SB>(CF<SB>2</SB>CF<SB>2</SB>)<SB>m</SB>I (wherein n is an integer of 0-5; and m is an integer of 1-3). The fluoroolefin iodide mixture is produced by dehydrofluorinating a fluoroalkyl iodide represented by general formula [II]: C<SB>n</SB>F<SB>2n+1</SB>CF<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>2</SB>CF<SB>2</SB>(CF<SB>2</SB>CF<SB>2</SB>)<SB>m</SB>I (n is an integer of 0-5; and m is an integer of 1-3) in the presence of a basic compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
