<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp with brightness improved in spite of its being a blue-color lamp. <P>SOLUTION: The fluorescent lamp forms a phosphor layer containing a plurality of phosphors on an inner face of a glass bulb, and the phosphor layer contains a blue-color phosphor having a light-emission peak at a wavelength of around 450 nm, 10 to 60 wt.% of green-color phosphor having a light-emission peak at a wavelength of around 540 nm, 0 to 15 wt.% of red-color phosphor having a light-emission peak at a wavelength of around 610 nm, and 0 to 40 wt.% of calcium halophosphate phosphor, with chromaticities x, y in the CIE (Commission International d'Eclairage, International Commission of Lighting) 1931 (standard) color system expressed in a formula of: y=ax+b, when 'a' is in a range of 2.1 to 2.4, b in a range of -0.31 to -0.23, and y in a range of 0.148 to 0.350. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
