<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance cooling effect of internal components by sucking not high temperature air, but lower temperature air in a periphery of a paper discharge space. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with a cooling fan 4 arranged beside a paper discharge space 1, and also provided with a cover member 2 on the front side so as to cover the cooling fan 4. The cover member 2 is provided with a plurality of slits 6 as air suction openings 5 for the cooling fan 4 below the cover member 2 and they are positioned inside the outer shape of the cover member 2 downstream along a flow of air. The cover member 2 is provided with ribs 7 so as to section a part including the cooling fan 4 and suction openings 5, and other parts. With this constitution, the cooling fan 4 sucks not warm air from the paper discharge space, but downward air which is advantageous in cooling through the sits 6 as the suction openings 5 so as to cool the inside of a housing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
