<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for setting a group of a sensor node capable of setting a sensor as a group of a master based on a communication signal having intensity that is lower than the normal intensity of a signal from the sensor node. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A method for setting the group of a sensor node is constituted which is characterized in that the intensity of a communication signal output from a sensor node is lowered, and when the communication signal of the lowered intensity is received in a master, the sensor node can be set as the one belonging to a group of the master.
