<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely recognize various welding conditions such as the generation state of an arc and the state of a molten pool, etc. by fetching high brightness parts and low brightness parts while surely separating them during arc welding as an image. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This device is provided with: a first imaging part 20 for picking up the image of the high brightness parts during the arc welding; a second imaging part 21 for picking up the image of the low brightness parts during the arc welding; a frame memory 30 for storing high brightness images picked up by the first imaging part 21 and low brightness images picked up by the second imaging part 21; a locus converting part 31 for converting the locus of the chip position of a welding torch 17 to a locus on the frame memory 30; a display region setting part 32 for deciding a display region Q corresponding to the arc and/or the molten pool on the basis of the locus of the chip position converted by the locus converting part 31; and an image combining part 33 for combining the high brightness images obtained by extracting the high brightness images in the first imaging part 20 corresponding to the display region Q with the low brightness images in the second imaging part 21.
