The device (D) has an adjusting beam (7) mounted on a transversal rotation axis supported on a support bracket that is positioned on two parallel lateral sides of a cage or working chute (C). The beam receives a locking and unlocking unit (11) at a transversal end. One of the lateral sides is arranged with fixed rims forming racks that are curvilinearly established along rotation paths of the beam. The locking and unlocking unit is co-operated with the fixed rims forming the racks along determined angular amplitude.
