The vehicle (1) has guiding units provided on two magnetically loaded and/or compressed-fluid loaded rail clamps. Operating units e.g. switching units, are provided on the guiding units. The vehicle and another rail vehicle are arranged for simultaneous and opposite traffic on a platform (3). The larger rail vehicle moves opposite to and past the other rail vehicle, in a contact-free manner. The vehicles are guided independent of each other on different rail areas (Y, Z). An axle journal (8) and an axle carrier (9) have wheels (5).
