PURPOSE: An opening and closing device of a lift type window system is provided to make handle operation of user easy by according with the operation direction of handle. CONSTITUTION: An opening and closing device of a lift type window system comprises a roller part(110), a lifting assembly(120), a lifting bar(130), a knob(140), a first locking part(150) and a second locking part(160). The roller part rolls and contacts in the rail on the lower part of a window frame. The lifting assembly is combined in the lower part of the window frame. The lifting bar is mounted on the side part of the window frame and makes the lifting assembly position close to the roller part and separate from. The knob is installed at the window frame to rotate.
