COMPACT RING HYBRID WITH METAMATERIAL AND SHUNT CAPACITOR

PURPOSE: A compact ring hybrid power divider is provided to implement a wideband characteristic by replacing a part of a RH(Right-Handed) transmission line with a CRLH(Composite Right/Left-Handed) transmission line. CONSTITUTION: A compact ring hybrid power divider comprises a first and a second transmission lines(9,10). The first and the second transmission line are made of a meta material. The first and the second transmission line comprise a parallel capacitor. The first transmission line is a RH transmission line which has an electrical length of 45° with the parallel capacitor. The second transmission line is a CRLH transmission line which has an electrical length of 225° with the parallel capacitor.
