PURPOSE: An opening and closing bus platform is provided to protect passengers in an emergency by spreading side walls, and to be applied to a narrow sidewalk. CONSTITUTION: An opening and closing bus platform(100) is composed as follows. Fixed side walls(120) are installed in the bottom of a roof(110), and have a half width compared to an existing side wall of a bus platform. Movable side walls(130) are installed in the rear of the fixed side walls, and selectively opened and closed. An upper rail and a lower rail are formed on the bottom surface of the roof and the bottom of the movable side walls so that the movable side walls are slid.
