The invention relates to a method for operating a technical industrial system, allowing components of the system to be switched automatically to an energy-saving rest state depending on the actual operational situation. To this end, the method according to the invention proceeds such that at least one state variable (ZG) relevant to the operation of each component (K) is continuously captured for at least one component (K) of the system, the at least one captured state variable (ZG) is evaluated by each component (K) based on component-specific project data (PD) stored in each component (K), in order to determine whether at least partial shutdown of the component (K) is possible without disturbing the operation of the system, and, if such is the case, at least one part of each component (K) is switched from an operating state to an energy-saving rest state by the component (K) itself. The invention further relates to a technical industrial system and a component for the same. |
