PURPOSE: A rotary shuttle device of a high speed sewing machine is provided to periodically secure the flow path of an upper thread on a bobbin base recess with a needle plate to fit a passing point of the upper thread. CONSTITUTION: A rotary shuttle device of a high speed sewing machine comprises the following: a hook body(20) mounted on a driving shaft; a bobbin case base(30) received on the hook body; a bobbin case consisting of a body case body(50) to hold a bobbin; and a bobbin(40) installed inside the bobbin case. A recess(33) is formed on a wing(32) equipped on the main wall of the bobbin case. A protrusion(75) is inserted into the recess formed on the bobbin case base.
